You can visit the Oak Street Beach. This is situated to the north of Magnificent Mile. This is a beach which is open for a lot of sports activities like cyclists, inline skaters, volley ball players and sunbathers. The sides of beach have concreted wide places; where you can lie down to take a sun bath. Or you can simply sit and watch people. This is a good Chicago thing to do if you are in the Oak Street Beach. One thing to note in this is that though there are restrooms and concessions in this beach but there are no parking facilities available. Another Chicago thing to do is to visit the Soldier Field. This was built in 1920. Since 1971, this field has hosted the Chicago Bears Football team. When the city was rebuilt, it came to be known as the Second City. The city that was destroyed in the fire came to be called the First City. Thus we see, from the very history of Chicago, that it has always been a city of human spirit and endeavor. This has helped the city to become one of the foremost business centers of the country.
